2008 CAOMS CALL For Papers!!!

The California Association of Orientation and Mobility Specialists (CAOMS) is seeking presenters for its annual statewide conference on November 14-16, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Newport Beach.

We are looking for innovative workshop presentations in a variety of areas related to Orientation and Mobility, such as O & M for non-VI autistic students, collaborating with physical and occupational therapists, traffic engineer led workshops on complex traffic intersections, basic Braille instruction for labeling and GPS instruction, stress relief, infant, pre-school, school age, and adult/rehab O & M, teaching O & M to traumatic brain injured children and adults, bioptic driver’s training for low vision students, dog guides for high school students, GPS training and competitions, and other relevant topics.

All presenters who are ACVREP certified will receive Continuing Education credits for their presentations. Certified participants can also receive CE credits for all workshops attended.
